Frequently Asked Questions about Enhancement Groups

Who participates in your groups?

Our enhancement groups are designed to support adults with cognitive-communication difficulties from neurological illnesses or injuries. Some participate while still receiving therapy and others wait until therapy is completed. People can join any time they are looking for support, practice opportunities and social connections.

How is group therapy different from individual therapy?

Enhancement groups are not a replacement for therapy. Group programming is more social, dynamic and offers opportunities to practice real-life communication with multiple listeners.

What happens during a session?

Our SLPs facilitate structured cognitive-communication practice, structure, support and fun for adults with neurological illnesses or injuries.

How does pricing work?

We offer a complimentary first session. This ensures the program is a good fit for you. After that you can pay monthly or a weekly drop-in fee.
