Speech, Language & Cognitive Therapy for Everyday Living
Speech, Language & Cognitive Therapy for Everyday Living
Amy’s treatment style is to match an individual’s wants, needs and skills with custom tailored strategies/systems to improve function and independence. Sessions start with an evaluation to identify the areas of challenge, and then use a combination of personal interests, strategy development, education and advocacy training, along with scientifically-based interventions to help an individual maximize abilities. At each stage, Amy works collaboratively with all involved to develop a personalized program. Treatment is provided in a range of settings including home, community, work and schools, as well as through teletherapy, as needed, so that skills can be maintained and carried over into personal environments.
